These days I make it a must to spend time every morning with this furry fatty bombom of mine. I feel so relaxed and at ease with her. She makes me smile and I know no matter what, she wont hurt me and that no matter what I do, she'll always be there and not judge. I can tell her all my secrets and they're safe with her. I can be myself around her and feel comfortable with it. I should probably go marry my dog or something.  I think I am a much nicer/kinder person towards animals than humans. Sigh.

4:17am thoughts.

I always wonder how its like to be in love. Like not the kind you just say cause you're supposed to say "i-love-you" and or idk what "modified" kinds of love there are these days. But the kind that experienced between two people, like those in movies, like those that is second to parental love. I always hear people say that they love their boyfriend or this guy and I often wonder, what is love and is their love real? I guess I have the least right to comment on that since I dont think I ever did experience it before. 

Me loving someone other than my family and dogs? Impossible. I just cant love someone else the same way I love them. I don't know what that kind of love is. I don't know what it is and I don't know how to feel it or show someone that. I just can't do it no matter what I do.

Im 20 this year and haven't experienced true love. Sad right. However, if God was to send this love down now, I dont think the yet-to-mature-fully me would be able to handle it or am ready for it. Now, I've got other priorities. But other than those kind of real love, I am definitely more than happy with my life. I was born a really fortunate and blessed girl and I really really cant thank God more for that. 

Sometimes the silly me starts thinking if its just my fate/destiny or whatever its called. To have everything except this kind of love. Or other days, I start wondering if its some curse passed down. My mind goes haywire once in awhile and I start coming up with all kinds of absurd reasons. There's always something wrong. Timing, motive, place, circumstances. 

Like the typical girl, my friends always scold me for liking the bad guys and shunning the good guys. Everyone around me seems to have or am experiencing it. Or their version of it, real or illusion. But from today onwards, no more. I'm gonna have my version of it one day. It would be my ideal kind of love, the love I always dreamed of and hoped for. But in the meantime, don't settle for less. 

*p.s. I am now starting to wonder if I'll wake up tomorrow and laugh at myself or regret writing such emotional stuffs all over again.

The last Saturday of 2012.

Thanks Mommy, I ll try my best. Thank you for buying me a present to cheer me up cause you know I've been feeling down lately. 

I lurrrbbbz Euuuuuzz.

Went to town with the mother today and brought her to try Ippudo which she enjoyed ALOT despite me ordering the wrong kind for both of us. Geez right? Oh, the beef steak cubes there are a must try! Highly recommended by me! 

So after my poly friends introduced me to these fantastic taco balls, I honestly cant get enough of them. I've been having them two days in a row without feeling sick of it at all. Third day tmr? Im going crazy. Now other taco pachi stores are soo mehhhh. Its located at the basement of ION btw.

So happy with my taco balls, smile until my mouth gonna burst. 

Oh yaa. so recently some girls have tweeted to me that they saw me on the ngee ann's magazine. (thanks a lot btw! if not i would never ever know!!! hehhh) 

This was taken so long ago? Maybe when I was around 17/18? I looked so different then. Tsk. 

Feeling so nostalgic now.

Shall go back to listening to christmas songs now to get into the "christmas-sy-newyear-ish" mood. 

Hongkong Must-Go-To's

I've got people asking me on formspring to recommend a few places to go to in Hongkong so I finally managed to find time to come up with a short list of must-go-tos in Hongkong! Hope it helps though there are only a few places. Btw this information is just my opinion and thinking. It may be subjective!

1. Australian Diary Co. 

For me, everytime I go to Hongkong, no matter how tired I am from shopping the day before, I will always get up early for this. They're famous for their milk tea, charsiew macaroni, french toast bread. But another thing, the waiters are also famous for their very rude behaviours and the long queues outside. By saying rude behaviours, it would probably be an understatement and I am not kidding about it. Nonetheless, the food is definitely worth all that, or more.

2. Hui Lau Shan 

Best desert place which is all over Hongkong and a good place to rest for shopping breaks. 

Their specialties include the mango pomelo sago drinks and mango deserts. Must try! 

3. Langham Place

Shops there include H&M, Monki (clothes) and alot more. Btw, H&M in hongkong is alot cheaper than in Singapore. So unfair right?

4. Harbour City 

Location: Tsim Tsa Tsui 

The shops here include higher end brands such as Zara, Steve Madden, Pedder Red, Balenciaga, Chanel, Prada and more. I can spend the whole day here and not finish walking. Brands such as Zara are cheaper in Hongkong but it also depends on the exchange rate. Another place which is similar to Harbourcity but not on the Kowloon side is IFC Shopping Mall. 

5. Fa Yuen Street 

This is like Temple Street but more of a "fashion" temple street. There are alot of small shops selling clothes and shoes at super cheap and affordable prices! However unlike temple street, you dont need to bargain and cant bargain since prices are already so low. You can even get boots at less than 20SGD if you're lucky!

6. Sasa & Bonjour 

Sasa and Bonjour are the shops in hongkong which sells all the makeup and shampoos etc. Singapore has Sasa but the Sasa in hnogkong has a much wider range of products and their prices are much lower. I always restock my favourite dollywink mascara at these places whenever I go to Hongkong. 

7. Forever21

Recently, F21 just opened in Hongkong and the F21 there will make you go crazy. Its 4 levels high and their stock is so much better than Singapore's. The first time I went there, I spent 3000+ HKD. Yes, its THAT crazy.

8. Times Square

Another shopping mall located on the Hongkong side which is similar to HarbourCity. 

9. Hotels 

For hotels, I usually stay in the Kowloon side and I would recommend Nathan Hotel and Prudential Hotel. They are both located near the MTR stations and very convenient.

Its been such a long time since I last photobooth-ed. 

I kinda secretly miss australia despite saying how much I hate it there. Despite leading a boring life there with no photoshoots, partying and etc, I feel that I become a better person when I am there. Its like two different people. The Tricia in singapore and in australia. In australia, I am able to somewhat escape to a whole different world. A much simpler and carefree world. Coming back to singapore means coming back home to my family, but it also meant coming back to a past which I had always longed to forget. It meant coming back to a place filled with lots of complicated relationships and politics. Coming back to getting drunk and hangovers. Coming back to negative thoughts and feelings. It was much simple in australia somehow. Shops closed early, there was zero nightlife there for me. Here, I have to make hard decisions like going out to have fun and make my parents worry or stay home and sleep. Well, this isnt really the best example, but you kinda get what I mean. 

Plus, I blog more there and have more time to reflect. 

You would have seen it happen if you havent been looking somewhere else.

Two of a kind; Sneaks behind.

My first shoot with WEARERUBBISH since I got back this break. 

Collection has been launched and this is one of my favourite collections so far! 

And this collection's cover page was a little different from the usual. J who came to give me a surprise visit from hk was there with me during the shoot! So Jordus decided that we would do a cover together with the bart simpson's knitwear. 

And for this collection, I got a dress named after me! Bwahahhaha so happy. :)
