Summer break

My long awaited summer break is finally here and I am back in Singapore. 

Words cant express how happy I am but I gotta admit, I'll miss Australia. The lifestyle here and there is pretty different. Well I guess a change in environment once in awhile is gonna be pretty healthy? 

*cross fingers*

Whenever I sit aeroplanes, I love taking the window seat and can spend hours just looking at the fluffy clouds and sky. Too pretty and I actually secretly lookout for carebears. Hehehehe. Hoping that I'll be able to spot them despite knowing its not possible. But hey, no harm dreaming a little dream right?

Tsk, in the plane also must take picture. Hahahahahha! Spot the massive middle smacked right in the middle of my forehead. The stress from exams and staying overnight at the library. Glad those days are over. Or at least for the year. And I survived my first semester of university! Hip hip hooray! :)

My sister's getting married this december and I went along with her to choose her dress. Seeing my sister walk out in that dress, I finally understood why people always say that a girl is always prettiest on her wedding day.

Hurt

Have you ever had this feeling whereby suddenly everything you've been struggling so hard to fight for just turns its back on you? That feeling of betrayal. You are filled with endless anger yet your soul is broken into pieces. You want to scream yet no voice comes out. Its like your whole world comes crashing down onto you. You thought it was real and true. Yet it turns around and bam, its all been a dream. Its like lucid dreaming. You controlled your dream yet, but it ends up controlling your emotions indirectly?

Just finished both my criminology papers and I'm as happy as a lark cause i finally am over and done with it. thanks to the help of my friends who are extremely nice to encourage me to study all the time and never give up. their patience with me is A m a z i n g despite me always distracting them while their studying and me getting distracted while studying. Psychology papers next. 

Last night, I was studying with a friend and I got crazily hungry to a point I was getting really frustrated and angry. The reckless me called a taxi which drove us to Macdonalds (they call it maccas here but i refuse to conform) and back. The freaking taxi fare cost me 40+ bucks without including the cost of my meal. Heftiest price i've paid for a Macdonalds meal ever. mind you, I went to the nearest Macdonalds which was maybe two mrt stops away though there is no mrt but its just a gauge of distance. hahahahahahhaha but without out, I would have literally died of hunger. but it made me and my friend happy and full so i get its all worth it! :) 

in this case, i guess its referring to my moment of recklessness and hunger?

I do hope that november will treat everyone well! 

And i guess we should all live as if the world is really ending this coming december. This way, we'll learn to treasure and appreciate the things around us more and not take it for granted. JUST IN CASE. Imagine if the world was really ending, what would you do and who would you want to spend your last few moments with? Anyoh-hows, I'm glad I'll be home in singapore with my family and friends! :)

I wonder what was happening this time exactly one year ago. two years ago? three years ago? 

one year ago, i would never have expected my life to be the way it is now. still studying in school at 2:09am, in a foreign land far far away from my family and later walking back alone. gahh. but surprise surprise, i kind of survived a whole semester of this. I've never stayed in school till so late, its probably a hint of what kind of student i've been anyway. welcome to uni? 

self declared half an hour break is up. time to go back to the books. 

btw, did i mention that one of my psychology lecturer looks like the anorexic version of albus dumbledore? I just cannot get over that fact. 

now i'll leave the rest to your imagination. 

Judge Judged Judging

Its kinda funny how this world works. We really shouldn't judge people for based on what we see. Or at least, what we see from the surface is always very different from the actual thing. And judging people always end up giving us the biggest surprise. How sad and weird. Its funny how this world works.

Examples:

• the person who's always busy studying and does not seem the least bit interested in the opposite sex probably already had a bf for 3 years plus. 
• the person who talks like he knows and has done everything actually hasn't even tried frog porridge before.
• the person who looks the strongest is maybe the weakest amongst your group of friends.
• the most innocent girl in your class has already watched porn more times than the most rebellious girl in class has eaten chicken bratwurst sausage from germany. 
• the guy who looks the scrawniest among all your guy friends is actually the guy who has a black belt in taekwando and knows thai boxing.
• the nicest girl in class is actually the most horrible bitchiest girl in school.
• the person who you thought had lots of boyfriends is actually not dating anyone at all. 
• the person who you thought you would never be able to get along with in your whole entire life ends up being your soulmate. 
• the person who you think is most popular actually has no friends at all. 
• the person you thought would never lie to you, lied to you.

Boy i could go on with these examples. i wonder how i came up with all these, but i guess you get my point about judging people.
